In October, Voces Unidas opened the application process for the first cohort of the Latino Network, a year-long program that brings a cohort of community leaders together to network, discuss community issues, and engage business, civic and elected leaders in brave conversations about regional issues.
Ten leaders have been selected to participate in the year-long program out of 25 applicants. These leaders come with expertise and insights from five different sectors -- health, banking, education, non-profit, and civil service -- and include residents from all three counties.
Voces Unidas supports the growth and education of Latina and Latino leaders through culturally and linguistically effective leadership programs. These programs place leaders in opportunities where they can lead in their own communities to create systemic change.
