Civic Leader Education & Advocacy Program (CLEAP) participants spent a day exploring the historical site of Xochimilco.
On the agenda for Saturday, June 1:
Participants took a day trip to the famous canals of Xochimilco, the last remnants of a vast water transport system built by the Aztecs. Colorful gondola-like boats take visitors on cruises while food vendors, artisans, and musicians float by and offer their goods and services.
