Voces Unidas vaccinated 199 community members with the first dose of their COVID-19 vaccine in its first free vaccine clinic on Saturday, January 30.
In partnership with Governor Jared Polis’ Vaccine Equity Task Force, Voces Unidas is increasing vaccine access for Latinos in our valleys, especially to those individuals who ordinarily would not be reached by the traditional health care systems.
More than 30 volunteers and staff took part in the clinic on Saturday. The event was held at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Glenwood Springs, a safe and well-known gathering place for the Latino community.
To date, more than 550 people have signed up to take the vaccine with Voces Unidas. You can learn more about our vaccine equity program at www.vocesunidas.org/vacuna.
