Voces Unidas de las Montañas is looking for its first cohort of 10 participants for the Líderes Institute focused on nonprofit board leadership. Please help us spread the word and recruit Latinas and Latinos in our community to participate in this inaugural leadership training.
This comprehensive, four-day training course will be facilitated in person in Glenwood Springs to provide Latino community members with the knowledge, confidence, tools, and skills to serve successfully on nonprofit boards.
Starting September 11, participants will spend every Saturday learning about how nonprofit organizations work and the role and responsibilities of board members, among other topics. The course ends on Oct. 2.
You can support Voces Unidas and the Líderes Institute by sharing the application and encouraging emerging leaders in your community to participate. The application can be found here. Applications close August 9.
If your organization is looking to fill new board member spots, please also let us know. We would love to learn more about your organization, your needs at the board level and the process for selecting new board members. Voces Unidas will be working on matching cohort graduates with the right organizations starting in September. You can fill our this quick form if your organization is interested in partnering with Voces Unidas.
Please share this opportunity with emerging leaders. Together we can help make our valleys more equitable by making nonprofit boards more representative of the communities being served and by elevating Latina and Latino voices.
